R40,000 worth of prizes up for grabs in our monthly Oh So Cutie Babies SA competition. Prizes are awarded in the form of store vouchers and cash. There are three categories of winners for competition entrants – People’s Choice, Angel’s Choice, and StarPick of the Month. The seven prizes are valued as follows:
3X People’s Choice winners are selected based on the total number of public votes the entrant receives. These votes are submitted via SMS, Ozow, or Snapscan (charged). 50% of all profits generated by the competition are donated to a registered baby-affiliated charity. Should the competition fail to generate a profit in a specific month, a minimum amount of R2,500 will be donated to the charity. The charity recipient (for the following month) is chosen by the People’s Choice 1st prize winner.
3X Angel’s Choice winners are selected by the previous month’s nominated charity. To be eligible for the Angel’s Choice competition, entrants must feature in the Top 100 at the close of the competition. Winners of the People’s Choice Awards do not qualify.
The Oh So Cutie Babies Pick of the Month is chosen by the Oh So Cutie Babies team and must have accumulated 20 votes during the month to be eligible. Winners of the People’s Choice and Angel’s Choice Awards do not qualify.
The competition is run monthly. Entries for the following month’s competition open and close on the first and last days of the current month. Voting for the current month’s competition opens and closes on the 1st and last day of the current month. Winners will be announced by the 7th of the month following the competition close date.
We encourage voting via EFT or Snapscan to get better value for your money and to ensure a bigger portion of your vote cost reaches the charity.
You can give votes to any baby in our competition via Ozow. Just go to the baby's profile and follow the simple instructions using the trusted Ozow payment method. You will receive a confirmation SMS as soon as the vote has been submitted on our system.
You can give votes to any baby in our competition via Snapscan. Just go to the baby’s profile and follow the instructions to vote via Snapscan. These votes cost R1 each, and you can buy as many or as few votes as you wish.
Your little star has a unique code consisting of the word “Baby,” a space, and three to five digits e.g., “Baby 123”
To gain 1 vote for your Baby at a cost of R2, SMS this unique code (e.g., “Baby 123”) to 41875
To gain 15 votes at a cost of R30, SMS the same code to 42323
For your vote to be valid, it is important that your SMS contains ONLY the unique code, with a space between the word “Baby” and the number. Do not enter any other copy.
You will receive a confirmation SMS that your vote has been registered.
After our 1st elimination round, the Top 100 entrants’ ranking will be revealed. The Top 100 is constantly changing, so keep voting to ensure you get there and stay there to be eligible for People’s Choice and Angel’s Choice prizes. We will have a total of 4 elimination rounds during the month, at the end of which only the Top 100 entrants will remain. Remember though that even if you are eliminated, if you have 20 votes or more, you could still win our StarPick of the Month prize valued at R4,000.
